Turns automation
There was a lot of confusion surrounding whose turn it was when a mage showed up in a large scene, and what was/wasn't appropriate for turn-taking (moving, eating) during a tense situation. It'd be nice if, when someone called 'turns' in a room, we could all enter a command like 'turns claim' and th...

Dranston states, "I have a question about assets now that Az has the system. Will there be enough warning period before 'purchase wealth' is turned off? I know some people (*cough*) have been saving for it, and if they're at 43k and then log in and see on the news that it's gone suddenly that might ...

Re: Portals, Exits, and Traps - Policy Concerns
*resurrects this thread too* i've been struggling with how to hint at/keyword my own phome's secret doors - i don't want people to be able to go through and try keywords one by one to figure out all my secrets right away, but it's no fun if nobody ever-ever knows about your secret passages and spinn...

Re: A general frustration of mine(and possibly others)
a slightly more serious concern on my part related to above: when i flee an attacker, i don't want to be stuck with 'where' on so they can track me by it; if i'm eavesdropping on a room, i don't want to broadcast that i'm one room over. ideally giving out where i am wouldn't affect the rp at all, bu...

Re: [Poll] Should we bar the use of names and clear identifiers in the rumor system?
i could go either way, but the more that i think about it, the more i like the idea of removing names. once a rumour's in the system, it's divorced from the player starting it, and most vnpcs would only know the information secondhand or would refer to the subjects of the rumours as though they were...

Re: Confessions
i like the idea of a help confessions helpfile, at least. i love confession RP, and my own experience is that it can sometimes be hard to grasp how casual regular everyday confession and penances are. a helpfile with some common confessions and punishments rather than making all the priests seek out...

Re: [Poll] How long (in OOC days) should gambits be open?
I voted 5 days because that was the mark where all of us directly involved sort of started checking our watches and tapping our feet. But, that being said, I don't think it's the worst thing to keep it as-is; the full week gave us plenty of time to meet once the outcome became obvious, and a couple ...

Re: Do our emote standards make TI less accessible?
I try to pad out my emotes a little when I see other people doing so because I have noticed that people do tend to define a good roleplayer by emote length, but tbh, I do prefer (relatively) short poses. It makes dialogue flow better, and sometimes what you need is a witty one-liner. brevity, soul o...
