Re: Magic Discussion - Kinky's Notes
Just wondering if mattack is going to be the rocket launcher in the new rock, paper scissors combat system, or if they will be easier to defend against with some defense, harder with others, similar to how the weapons/defenses currently work?

Re: Wealth Revamp
Didn't read the entirety of this post so if the following is screwed up because of my negligence, then disregard. Isn't 'wealthy' just the ability to purchase silver at a lower cost? And isn't purchasing wealthy an xp expenditure? And then purchasing silver at this lower cost also an xp expenditure?...

Re: Influence Points
I concur with Rabek that the less movement points used and +1 to appearance are both nonsensical and should not be affected by this, if it is brought in game. Being someone influencial already would make you more 'attractive' as a partner in a general sense, it would not suddenly turn you (looks wis...

Re: Feedback on new combat system
I agree with Tribalware, Enix and Estelle. In particular the following is pretty much the reason I hate how armor is in the first place: Think about it this way - when you create a game, you want to promote variety. Currently the only viable combat concept is a character whose concept revolves aroun...

Re: Some common issues I have with the mud
Here's one: 6 people polled they'd prefer no xp penalty or familiarity on PKs which is the vast majority of those who polled. http://www.ti-legacy.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=228 This issues with armor/nobility were a separate issue. dealing with how you seem to want to limit nobility, yet you ma...

Stability. I like knowing when I log into a game that the policies/mechanics will not have been changed on me.

Re: RP Killers - What are your Pet Peeves?
How about knowing that I could have my character get jumped by 2-3 people with mediocre skills and get killed, so this drives me away from being in a public place. Is that something we can add to this poll?

Some common issues I have with the mud
Some of you may or may not have noticed I'm borderline active at the moment, whereas before I would long everyday, usually all or most of the day. Excluding the pressures of work/school that are eating up my time, here are the main reasons, I'm interested to hear if anyone agrees or if I'm the only ...

Re: Feedback on new combat system
Possible technique 'Counter': Not really all that hung up on the name. The point is that when you watch a certain body location, if your opponent attacks that location you have a free chance to not only avoid the damage, but you counter attack while s/he's open. No idea on how it would scale with sk...

Re: Feedback on new combat system
1) I don't like that wearing platemail and wearing clothes drains the same amount of moves during combat. I realize that out of combat this isn't the case, but in combat it is. Out of combat people will most likely just hop on a horse and/or carry around several whole pigs to eat to regain their mov...
