Hourglass
Functional hourglasses would be neat. They could function like candles/lamps, but with different messages. Holding and using it would reset its 'fuel' and 'light' it. When used: $n inverts $m. The sand within starts to trickle to the bottom. Last minute: The sand in $m has nearly all reached the bot...

Re: Invitation Command - Feedback
I like it. I think it's limiting enough (can only be used when both are not in a scene, cannot be used to escape situations by policy), and greatly cuts down on time to arrange a scene, which can take up to 30 minutes between messengers and travel time, which is a great boon for players with time co...

QP potted plants
I wondered if it would be possible to make potted plants an option to create with QP. This would basically involve removing the notake from a planted plant that would reasonably work as a potted plant, and restringing it as in a pot. Unlike the transplant command, the plant would still need to be te...

@taste for smokables
It seems smoking something in a pipe doesn't show the @taste or echo the @eat when it's smoked.
I think it would be great if this is brought in line with how drinks' @taste works. I think making use of @eat would be useful too, to echo the scent of the smoke to the room.

Re: inflict NPC followers
- Order inflict could already be abused, and is covered by help policy skillspamming. I have a feeling uses of inflict are already logged to staff. - followers can take a long time to heal, even when treated. I've seen one take an OOC week for a serious wound that was treated. - I suppose the ST sys...

inflict NPC followers
Currently, inflict can be used on yourself, or PCs who have been restrained. There are times when inflicting NPCs is useful too. NPCs can't be restrained, so while you can order them to inflict themselves, you can't do it yourself. For animal followers especially, it would be useful if you could inf...

Re: [Poll] Local or inter-ducal RP focus?
As for the roles Galax mentions that are supposed to cover all five duchies (Prime Medicus, Troubadours, Merchants, etc.), as I have held at least one of those, it did feel rather... like I was only running the one in Lithmore, rather than all of them. Yeah, especially easy to fall into if you don'...

Sit message
Because sit no longer takes an emote, it always gives the message "(name) sits on the ground."
This is a little jarring when using virtual furniture either in the room desc, or as a join place.
Could it be changed to "(name) sits down." please?

Re: Funny TI Quotes
The Prime Medicus, inspecting her armor commission: After making various fine adjustments to the habergeon, The Grand Magnate places it back on the armor stand so the entire set is on display and says, "There we go. How's that?" [The Grand Magnate] "It looks well. I do have a little concern now that...
