Name is a placeholder.
A high-ish circle water spell usable only on the self that permanently destroys memories - i.e., the caster's ENTIRE remember list. No picking and choosing who or what you want to forget; you forget everybody you ever knew, and all the secrets related to them.
Similar to Nullem, but is permanent and only self-castable.
Alternatively, this could be a high-level magecraft potion activated by casting Nullem, but harder then to do the "only usable on self" restriction.
New Spell Idea: Draught of Lethe
I thought it was too powerful a thing to do to somebody else. It would have amazing utility if you were able to do it to someone else, but it would just wreck their RP to hell and back. If it were cast on somebody else it'd almost be better if it was a specific person you remove from remember - so you don't destroy all their RP, and also so it's kind of more suspicious. (That is, if X forgets Y, we've got some suggestion of who was involved in screwing with X... making it remain a true desperation move.)
I don't like the wipe a person's whole remember list, even on themself. If they wanted to RP this, they could certainly do so and blame it on overuse of memories' price ritual or something.
However, I really do like the 'erase a single person from their memory'. I'd include messaging that they have forgotten them and don't realize anything is wrong. Any memories of others which hinge on them would be replaced by some fuzzy memory they just can't reach.
