Rolling stats without echo

I love randomness in my RP, I find that it brings a lot of fun when even i do not know what is going to happen.
Because of that I keep d100 by my keyboard when playing TI which I use to do various behind-the-scenes rolls, lke for example whether my character remembers something, or did he manage to understand some scheming or plotting. Problem is that when I do that with icly commands it draws a lot of attention OOCly because, well, they are colorful, verbose and usually reserved for something important. Which is why I would like an option to make the same rolls but with silent option, without the echo into the room, when it is used for internal struggle. It would simply make it easier to introduce randomness into RP.
