As a player, I'd really like a command to echo the vnum of the room I'm in. This would make it a whole lot easier to write up builder requests, and make it easier on the builders too.

Murr... I think it's problematic for players to see vnums - builders can see vnums of objects with holylight on (or something like that), so... when you write a note on the boards, it records the locale so staff can see where when typos are posted, for example...
Not really sure waht other benefit this has, and I do see problems with people knowing that a key vnum is the thieves key, for example...?

Was thinking specifically room vnums, Kin, and nothing else. So I could be typing a note from Church Square about vnums in the Reeves' GH that I want changed around, and instead of going...

'I want 'An Office' deleted, and then 'The Proconsul's office' moved to 'A Hallway' and the second 'A Hallway' (not the one north of the proconsul's office) moves to 'A Drinking Fountain' (not the one south of the Courtyard).'

Instead, those would all be vnums, and it'd be less of a headache for builders and I'd feel like less of an asshole when I request complicated builder bits.
