Re: ~Great Deeds~
I am not certain that achieving peerage is not a popularity contest. Consider the following mechanic: Monarch has command to raise and can do so as they see fit. -> Character wishes to be raised, Monarch has decreed it costs them <x> prestige/support (paid to the Monarch) -> Significant number of No...

Re: Hidden Lines in Emotes
Gotta be honest, I don't use any targeting besides /, unless an item is SUPER important--I don't even know what the dynamic target for an item IS, off the top of my head. All of this in-emote stuff is cool, but I like to get my posts out faster and like to receive them faster, so this sort of thing...

Re: Hidden Lines in Emotes
I would use inline think more often than the current command (I'm the sort that thinks redundancy in commands is better than removing user-friendliness in favor of bandwidth saving... of course, I'm also the one who isn't paying for it.) Just because, to me, it seems more natural. 'This is where I t...

Re: Hidden Lines in Emotes
Passing secret messages (your underlaying feelings/intents) implies there is secondary communication. Communication of any form leaves room for others to interpret or intercept the message. Therefor leaving it opaque to some and clear to others seems wrong to me... so, for the 'trust' aspect I'd sug...

Re: Inflict
Syntax: inflict <light/heavy/serious $d > <cut/bruise/puncture> <target> <location> Recho: $p is attempting to deal $d damage to $t. inflict submit <inflict-er> <string> Basically, we end up with a LOT of torture, emoted combat scenes like minor scuffles and such, or the contested single punch or s...

I meant support. x.x I am not good with the naming things and the remembering of the way things are called. :(Geras wrote:Support is pretty similar to prestige...

I missed this. x.x You can consider my above post food for thought, or both of these posts may be removed. My apologies, I thought the matter was still open. :(Kinaed wrote:The poll speaks for itself. It won't be added.

Re: Miscarriage Spell
Is it acceptable to kill children? Infants? Newborns? Can such deaths be performed in a graphic manner? Is it acceptable to abort a child without magic (via the aforementioned herb)? Can that herb be forcefully administered? If you cannot abort or kill newborns, infants, children... at what age does...

Re: ~Great Deeds~
Most of the above examples seem to require the following things: A) Access to the appropriate clique. B) Extraordinary luck. I suggest making sufficiently advanced 'Prestige' considered a great deed. Also, actions that are in line with the Church Dogma (they need not be intended to be) such as signi...
