Re: What should happen to seeking?
Are people prepared to have people purchasing into roles? If yes, under what circumstances? While I want to say yes, I have no way of knowing for certain, nor am I in any leadership position, so I don't really have a strong opinion either way. To what degree is guilding essential for a character's ...

Re: Small Sponsorship Improvements
As I understand it, the system was built to be entirely IC, and no amount of OOC pressure should ever be applied to it. That being said, these ideas are well thought-out, well-worded and well-argued, and I could easily get behind them.

He then stormed out, and let us carry on in our work. We'd been at it hours, and we couldn't get the guy to ...

Re: RPI = No OOC
It may be a bit of an undertaking, but I've played on text-based RP games wherein the staff actively monitor and police all OOC channels, including tells and osays. Policy violations are quickly recognized and addressed. It is not necessary to punish most incidents, but a quick interjection from sta...

Re: RPI = No OOC
I voted 'maybe': I'm perfectly willing to give it a try, as I am most things, but I am almost certain I will not like it. For me, playing the game is almost as much about open communication between players as the roleplay itself. I don't always have a lot of time, and to be perfectly honest I'm just...

Re: Illness Engine Proposal
Can Constitution play a part in resisting these effects? Just for that extra little bit of complexity and realism?
