Here's a commissioned portrait of one of my former characters: Cellan ab Samael, the mother of our (current) Queen, Caitrin ab Samael; one of the founders of the Samael dynasty. (by Zippora)

Re: Players Avoiding RP
+1. 5 minutes is way too short; 10 minutes gives one ample time to read the other emotes and formulate a decently thought-out response.

Re: Players Avoiding RP
RP comes in all shapes and sizes. One of the reasons for my long-term love affair with TI is that it accepts and encourages all different types of RP, and that people with different philosophies can come together to tell a story. I won't use the term "ParaRP", because I know where it comes from and ...

Re: More Tolerance for Inactivity
I saw this forum thread with some surprise. Without detracting from the issue at hand, I would like to clarify my situation, since there seems to be some confusion in a critic's post as to what happened to establish my inactivity. This year has been a tough one for me, personally and professionally....

Re: RPI = No OOC
I'm for an "absolutely not" to getting rid of tells. They have a very practical, in-game function. For example... "I may be able to RP in 40 minutes, but I have to see if my friend still wants to go out", or a simple "How are you? I don't have time to play, but just wanted to see how you are"... wou...

Re: Champion publicity
The champion title was always intended purely for OOC bragging rights; it isn't meant to reflect actually being "the best" IC (especially given that, in this world, one cannot know that they're "the best" at any given skill; there is no means by which to determine it). I'm very against publicizing i...

Re: Women of Urth Paperdolls
I'd say that the necklines for the Vavardi and Vandagan are meant to be switched. Also, the Farin still wear skirts--just split ones! Otherwise, love the Lithmorran one

Re: [Poll] Should the think command use the same syntax as emote?
I am always fudging my thinks into things like emotes with * * because a lot of thoughts aren't just stream of consciousness, but flashes of emotions, flashes of images rather than just direct words. I think it is better rp (especially for those thought listeners) to have those other things. +1, an...

Re: Let's end this problem forever
Using /self instead of "he", in this example, will get rid of your name from the beginning of the emote.

Re: Party hard
I like this idea, but I'd be more inclined towards the "gifted" amount of IP be determined by something other the amount of people who turn up. PC attendance doesn't reflect the amount of work put in, nor the impact of the event on the city in general (we must assume that there is an ambient and NPC...
