Re: The Purpose of Nobility, or Lack Thereof
Enix actually nailed it all, imho.

Re: Join Places
I'd like to see that eavesdrop (or the ability to be detected doing such) not only depends on the wisdom of the others looking at the eavesdropper, but somehow on the eavesdropper's skills or stats themselves. It would make sense that some are better at secretly eavesdropping than others.....(I stil...

Re: Ideas For a Plot Voting System
Why does this necessarily need to be voted on by people? Wouldn't advanced knowledge of such actually take away from the surprise and potential fun of it? Why not skip the middle man and go straight to the imms with plot ideas? I'd like to see flexibility with the imms and the potential removal of R...

Re: Reign in the Nobility
I must've missed the 'resounding support'. I was there for the 'spirited debates because people felt very strongly on both sides'.

Re: Game Benefits for Sale
Yeah, I've gotta agree with Nursie on this one. Is it possible to have hunger/thirst in the prompt, under affects, in the score, whatever... causing any affect it will have, but we DON'T need to be reminded once a minute that we are hungry or thirsty?

Re: Disbanding Guilds
I still don't see how disbanding the guilds will help, even with the limited player base. If you are a strong character with a strong background, you aren't necessarily going to go "Oh, I'm not a scholar anymore... guess I"ll go be a Reeve instead!". You might, or you might just languish non-guilded...

Re: Merchant Revamp Idea
Take away the color limitation then and that's exactly what you have -- nonmerchants with the proper skills can do the same thing, but at a higher cost. People can either learn the skills themselves, or find others outside the merchants guild (and yes, there are some). It would still require rp and ...

Re: Merchant Revamp Idea
I think there should be ways to make your own items, but there should still be a benefit to going through the merchants guild. Maybe it takes time to make your own (sending out for an order?) and isn't as fast as a merchant could be (in theory -- at least not instantaneous to make). Costs 2x as much...

Re: Disbanding Guilds
I'd like to hear arguments on why disbanding any guild is going to fix any problems in the mud (specifically, which problems and how they will help?). I sincerely doubt that any members of the disbanded guilds are going to automatically shift their characters into others for random reasons.
