Re: Legalizing gay marriage

There are a lot of interesting perspectives shared here! I won't speak on the recent IC Events, but here's a throwback to last year. My character and Lyonie, who was the Justiciar back then, brainstormed the idea of presenting a gay marriage legalization proposal to the Council and Grand Inquisitor....

+1. I'm all for redistributing the power across the playerbase.

Re: Civetta's post in 06/13/2020 / Header Plot Experiences And Issues

What are the details? Why do players' concentrated efforts to change the course of this plot continue to fail? Is it really just bad rolls?

Just some transparency, please.

Good work! I've never been too good with ASCII maps either, so this is a great help.

Re: [Poll] Should Orderites be allowed to have mage alts?

Voted no. From what I've read in helpfiles, and from what I've seen in practice, mages are perpetually in conflict, directly or indirectly, with the Order based on their mere existence. Passive Order characters interact in confidence with Knight and Inquisitors on a greater frequency than the rest o...

Re: NPC Run Events

I really like this idea. I've never seen the Kissing Festival hosted before, and think that having it be an automated NPC run event could be cool.

Re: [Poll] Trial Removal of OOC Channels - One Week Countdown

I'm voting for a strong net negative. A big pushing point for the removal was that IC information wouldn't be able to be shared OOCly so easily. Being as how sensitive IC information about one of my characters was shared OOCly through Discord several months into the trial reinforces my opinion that ...

Re: OOC Support Thread - You're Awesome and Here's Why

Necroing because this was a great idea and I’m sad it died.

Lans is so awesome! It’s so nice to see a gruff, themely hardass Knight, since we’ve been lacking in that archetype for a while. Lans takes it beyond archetype and brings his character to life. I appreciate you, Lans, and keep being awesome!

Re: [Poll] Rumor System

I personally really dislike the new rumor system. I understand that staff put effort into it, but to me this was a case of gutting the patient when a simple stitch would've been fine.

Edit: Years later, I changed my mind. It's way better than the old system.
