As the title says. The objective of join spots are to create separated RP locations in busy, spammy, scenes, or to afford grouped characters the ability to sub-scene effectively.
In busy scenes this effectively becomes a spam line which constantly makes it harder to catch emotes and to track what is going on.The join location policy already states that players should emote general ideas of what are going on at jmote locations: this echo is one which simply adds another layer of busy spam to busy scenes.
If players are interested in seeing what is occurring at a join location, they are able to watch that location to see what is being emoted there; there shouldn't be a question of if folks are RPing there, which appears to be what these echoes mean to convey.

Please Remove 'Player gestures at Join Location' Echo
To offer a productive alternative: Echo a policy message to players as they execute the join command to reflect ongoing activities via the emote command. The policy to make clear to a room that there is ongoing activity is already present and could easily replace the current implementation with a one-time prompt instead of a repeated notification.
