Fewer Perishable Forage Items

Could we have timers on fewer forage items? Stuff that makes sense to be preservable at least like berries and moss.

I sure was shocked when my pinecones rotted.
Anyway if I had a list of forageable items and their decay timers, I could probably give my opinion on how much each one makes sense. But probably more importantly, there might be some concern about littering the game world with forageable items, since they're so relatively cheap to 'create'. Similar to how used mail parcels have a decay timer because otherwise they'd junk up the world.
That reminds me, there are a lot of newbie clothes and other newbie items junking up the game world. It's mildly weird wandering the sewers and seeing so many perfectly good clothes, you'd think TI:L is set in the 21st century where fast fashion is a plague. But I digress.
Edit:
Where's the QP Lebowski

I wonder if it's technically possible for junk to add a decay timer (that is removed if someone picks it up)?

Or filter the foraged items like you said lol. Oops.

Bone would be another one to add to the list of things that would be nice if they wouldn't decay.

I can certainly take a look at this, and I'm not in disagreement that some items can be revised for decay. But yeah a list would be ideal! I'll add wild onions.

Circling back on this, is it possible to get a list of foraged/husbandry items that currently decay?
