Package status on appraisal

Could a line be added to packages (on appraisal) that indicates whether they're in good enough shape to be sent through the courier system?

(Versus packages which have already been sent and cannot be sent again.)

I like this idea. You can "look to" to see if a package has been sent before, but it's hard to manipulate when you have multiple packages.
