Guildhall Ping Cancel/Expiry

Could Guildhall pings have a cancel option? For when something comes up and you can't wait for a representative, or you accidentally trigger it trying to do something else (don't judge me!). It would be nice to save the other side some time and trouble leaving RP or whatever to come help you out, if you can't stay for the exchange or didn't mean to flash the Batsignal to begin with.
