IP and Rumours

In trying to think of more uses for IP, I want to suggest that people could buy the chance for one additional comment on a rumour for IP, say 5 or ten. This would get rumours going even more when something is controversial and put IP to more use. Just a thought and I'd would suggest limiting it to only one additional response.

I think this would certainly be a great use for it. As of right now IP has very little real use, ever since the removal of the GL Support-Subvert system.

I'm pondering the impact to how the rumor system works.

What do other folks think? I think 5 IP is too much per hit, but maybe X+1 IP per comment, starting at 0? This mirrors the costs for commenting on a gambit.
