Tag for language-independent speech

It would be nice if one had the option to mark certain portions of your speech as being language-independent! It's a bit jarring to have someone butcher their own name during an introduction and have to specify it in tells, or to have someone's raucous laughter come out as "Aeefweemd!" Of course, this has potential for abuse, but I'm pretty sure our playerbase will have no trouble understanding that just because they can mark their speech as language independent doesn't mean they should use it to get around the language barrier. (Especially since it's already trivially easy to - just use tells, etc.)

Alternatively, I always figured someone's coded name should be understood in all languages.

And make hyphens count as spaces.

I'd feel more comfortable with those two changes, which cover most problems. I think it's a little too abuseable otherwise.

According to the language helpfile, you should always be able to at least -recognize- your own (coded?) name, names on your remember list, and common words... but I don't think I've ever seen this work in practice. And I certainly don't know what's supposed to count as 'common.'

Given that people often go by names other than their coded name, I'm not sure that relying on coded name is the best solution, either. However, you CAN remember yourself. So if the recognition functionality (if it even works) could be extended to speaking one's own remembered name, that might be a better solution. Maybe.
