An Idea on Recommends

Now this might be something that the imms will say absolutely not on, but hey who knows.

A few times I've recommended someone, then the same person did something even better than what I rec'd them for. But I can't rec them for the new thing for the rest of the week. So what do I do, I say I'll remember. Never happens. So the way the Regency bids were done sparked an idea about rec's.

Now this may require a separate board for rec's, might not, who knows. My idea is essentially to have an editor (like mail, board, the body of the regency bid stuff) be opened up when you type 'recommend x'(this could also be done on a board). From the time you make that recommend, till 1 week from starting the rec originally, you can update the rec.
After the week is done, it is closed, imms approve/disapprove/set your house on fire/eat a panda.

I don't know if it'd work or not, but figured I'd start a post on it, or if there were better ideas.

I like that, sort of like you can edit cnotes for a limited amount of time, and then they become permanent. So once you start a reco, it hangs around editable, you can pile on the accolades, then at whatever point it's shipped off.
