OVERVIEW
The plot system is a place where players can advance the game's plot, be
rewarded for it, contribute to the master timeline, and request staff
support to make the game's environment come alive/react to the player's
activities.

The plot system exists to allow the staff to reward players who advance
plots. The system doubles as a documentation system for timelines, so
staff can datamine for lore, etc.

Plot create <title> will put a player into a POLCA where they can fill
in information about the plot that they've advanced as follows:
Plot Submission
Title : <Title typed above, changable>
Plot Advance : <Enter editor to type up plot advancement, limit 3200>
Contributors : <Names of players who were involved>
Share To : <Defaults None, else a list of player names or All>
Staff Support: <Enter editor, 3200>
Notes : <Editor for additional notes, 3200>
Staff Reply : <Editor for staff comments, 3200>
Processed : <Default No, becomes yes when staff PROCESS it>
Staff Tags : <default empty, can add plot keywords, etc>
POLCA:
The plot advance and title sections will automatically spawn a cnote.
The title just acts as a title, and the title of the cnote.
Plot advance is a freeform text where players can describe what they've
done, and is the basis for staff rewards.
Contributors are other players involved in the RP that staff should know
about when either awarding or enacting support.
Share to are the other players the creater is willing to let see and
index the entry.
Staff support is the section where the player specifies any particular
things they'd like the staff to do to support the RP they're having. For
example, a noble saying they're going to march on Lithmore might request
IC_Events, rumors, trade embargos, etc.
Notes is just an additional space where the player can write any private
notes to staff that people the note is shared to cannot see. This
information will be appended to the cnote and might include things like:

The staff reply and sections below it are not player set-able or editable.
Staff reply is where a staff member writes a note. This information is
not recorded to cnotes or in the plot system. It might be something like:
Awesome! I've awarded 3 QP 3 Rec for this, keep it coming!
Staff Processed is whether or not the submission is finalized - it will
only copy to cnotes and show to the players it is shared to when it
has been processed.
Staff can add keywords to the plot so that we can group them for later
data mining. For example, we might tag it 'flood' if it were part of
[ Press (c)ontinue, (r)efresh, (b)ack, (q)uit or hit (h)elp ] (71% complete)
the flood quest. This is solely to make the plot searchable.

NON POLCA COMMANDS
Plot list will list all plots in the system that a person has access
to. For players, this is what they have submitted, or what is shared to them.
For staff, this is everything in the system.
Plot match <string> will list all plots in the system that a person
has access to, that has the string matched exactly as written (similar to
help match or gnote match).
Plot <section> match <string> will do the same match as above, but limit
the search to a specific section.
Plot timeline <date1> <date2> will list all plots that were submitted
between the two given dates.
Plot unprocessed list will list all plots a player has access to
that a staff member has not yet processed.

Plot delete # will immediately delete a plot from the system.
Plot complete # # QP # R will mark a plot as processed and award the
specified QP and Rec_Level.
Plot edit # will put the staff member into the POLCA to edit the
staff fields (or other fields if they choose) of the plot.

Kinaed states, "That's partly why it's limited to us being responsive to what you're doing rather than, as Maxwell suggested, just creating an event of bandits roving around that we need to respond to."

A dark-haired man in his mid twenties says, "The exchange rate on QP to Silver or XP has always been horribly out of balance compared to their perceived value for other RPA / Staff purchased tasks. If this is going to take the place of some of the staff expenditures of QP and reduce the list of things you can do with QP then I think it would balance things out to make QP harder to get and increase the exchange rates for Silver/XP. But that's all up to staff anyway and how this ends up implemented."

Kinaed claims, "Xin's done a lot of typos, requests, and phome work. However, she hasn't finished filling the King's Forest with animals as intended. She has completed the basic crafting standards (staff side) and they were approved. You're likely to see the price of ingredients and items changing in NPC shops, as well as energy requirements for certain recipes to be adjusted. Same for gathering skills. We're working out the details on ensuring there's a standard rate of return for certain ingredients, or return of ingredients back to the crafters on failure. Also, much lower priority but still on the docket, Xin is looking through crafts and changing some around so there are fewer common ingredients that only have use in one recipe."

I mean, I was bound by rope, with a candle left on me, with -numerous- coded items in my inv and in the room, that could have help me in my escape one way or another, and I think that should have been taken into account.
