Log of OOC Meeting - 10/12/19
Posted: Sat Oct 12, 2019 6:38 pm
Kinaed claims, "A reminder of the OOC Chat Pact: Regardless of what we discuss, we understand and truly believe that everyone on TI does the best they can, given what they know at the time, their skills and abilities, the resources available, and the situation at hand. We will be respectful of this and each other at all times."
Kinaed wonders, "Today's Agenda is:
- Staff Updates
- Player Heartbeat
- Player Topics
Is there anything anyone would like to add to the agenda to make certain we discuss it today?"
Kinaed says, "My, it has been a slow week. Actually, a slow few weeks in terms of topics and whatnot."
Raspberries nods.
Gattara nods.
Raspberries says, "I don't have anything"
Brando nods
Satoshi states, "I just think theres not been enough going on to have a topic really"
Francesca claims, "All of my things would just be crafting suggestions"
Basdes nods.
Francesca states, "Surprising no one"
Kinaed says, "If no one has anything they want to talk about specifically, let's jump into Staff Updates. Last week, I did... very little that I can remember. I think I checked and approved a few requests. I'm working slowly on Turf Wars."
Kinaed claims, "That's me. "
Kinaed states to Azarial, "You're up "
Azarial states, "I'v been working on a few bugs as I wranbgel RL back into a decent position again"
Kinaed nods at Azarial.
Azarial claims, "Nothing too major, as I recall."
Kinaed claims, "Iv'e had two topics pop up in tells "
Kinaed says to Basdes, "You're up "
Basdes says, "Thank yoo! For those who have not read the MOTD, there's some changes to leatherworking and a new artwork recipe detailed in help oct2019. On my desk: Some bug testing which I've been neglecting and wilderness expansion."
Kinaed nods at Basdes.
Basdes states, "That's pretty much it for me. "
Kinaed questions, "... what happened to all of the notes on the changes board? *curious8"
Azarial claims, "Niamh tested them"
Basdes queries, "Moved to completed, perhaps?"
Kinaed claims, "Fair."
Kinaed claims, "Okay having a quick look - I think we may have updated the help file for Matchmaking Hooks so everyone can access and set them up."
Kinaed claims, "And fixed a few issues with the Jail Channel."
Kinaed says, "I'm not feeling that help file."
Kinaed says, "The help file still seems a bit messed up, or targetting incorrectly, so I've typoed that."
Kinaed muses, "Thank you, Staff, for this week's work. Moving to Player Heartbeat - how was everyone's week this last week?"
Francesca exclaims, "Good! No complaints. I tooled too many things. Um. The RP was fun!"
Temi states, "Whew, okay."
Kinaed says, "Very glad to hear that "
Kitty claims, "I have had a busy week at work, haven't been in as much as I've liked. But, when I have been in, I've been fine."
KING exclaims, "All good! Been a little busy, and kinda slow people wise, but good!"
Satoshi states, "Pretty slow, been very tired, some good RP though"
Gattara states, "Very, very slow."
Brando claims, "I am just ok. It hasn't been a good week for me. I achieved basically not much again.. and zero RP "
Kinaed claims, "I have to admit, I've been pretty worried because our pbase activity has dropped drastically in approximately two weeks. Just... plummeted."
Kinaed comforts Brando.
Kalana claims, "Good for me. The first market I've been to was exciting to have"
Francesca exclaims, "Hooray!"
Raspberries states, "Been pretty dead most the week"
KING trails off, "Spent way too much coin at that market..."
Kinaed states, "That's awesome. Was the Merchants Guild responsible for the market? I've heard good things."
Galax says, "Things have been fine. Low-key in a good way. I enjoyed the market event. I have noticed it really slow, though"
Francesca says, "Indeed we were! All like... four of us."
Temi nods.
Francesca flexes.
Galax exclaims, "And Mhm! That was a Merchant event"
Kinaed says to Francesca, "Please pboard me the list of names who put that on and I'll provide a staff thank you "
Sparkles states, "The Market was rather a fun time, and now the lore entry there needs to be updated I realized."
Kalana claims, "I think Francesca put in the most work"
Kinaed nods at Sparkles.
KING claims, "It really was super fun. I ended up getting some immense rp out of it."
Francesca declares, "Thanks to everyone who came and chilled for so long last night!"
Raspberries declares, "Sorry I missed it!"
Temi says, "Hopefully it's just a busy time of year for folks and not problems with how people are feeling about things"
Satoshi claims, "Well i mean, a lot of playera have migrated so its not that surprising"
Kinaed smiles.
Galax claims, "It turns out wild consumerism is a fun social RP activity"
Gattara trails off, "I've taken a step back and started playing less, I admit. It's been that slow, though..."
Kinaed queries to Satoshi, "Are you referring to After Earth?"
Basdes says to galax, "Spending money is always a good time."
Kinaed asks, "Or just another game?"
Temi questions, "Are you stepping back due to it being slow, or just unrelated?"
Satoshi claims, "Other games in general but that one is one i keep hearing about from people who have left yeah"
Kinaed nods at Satoshi.
Galax declares to Basdes, "And unlike in real life, it comes with no regrets!"
Kinaed claims, "Well, one way or another, we can only hope they like us enough to come back."
Francesca declares, "The one good thing about it being slower, though, is that it's forcing some of us to RP with people outside of our IC comfort zones. Which has been fun!"
Kinaed says, "I'm glad that you view that as fun, Francesca "
Brando claims, "Mine was real life stuff taht put the kybosh on my week. somebody who I knew died. that overroad everything... I will get back to playing as soon as possible."
KING agrees, lot's of branching out!
Kinaed comforts Brando.
Francesca interacts with the dirty Southsiders.
Gattara says, "Because it's been slow. Pretty much anyone my character knew is gone, it's a little frustrating."
Basdes claims, "Each of the two games have their unique charm, hence me still being here and there. "
Satoshi says, "I can think of four distinct peope who left for that game bh several others trying out different ines so i dont think its a singular thing just people bring their friends with them"
Kinaed says, "Yeah, mine was IRL as well. I've got a lot of irons in a lot of fires, plus working for a living."
Temi nods.
Kinaed nods at Satoshi.
Satoshi claims, "I DO like that all you filthy northsiders have no excuse not go RP with me anymore "
Francesca claims, "I think the slowness is a lot of different factors. But all MUDs go through activity dips."
Kinaed nods at Francesca.
Temi says, "As long as none of the factors are important things we shouldn't be ignoring."
Kinaed states, "I'm not deeply worried about it at this stage, just sad and noticing it."
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Kinaed states, "Hopefully anything like that will come out this meeting."
Satoshi claims, "And its been ncie that people are mostky being open to RP reach out attempts, ive sent several recommends for it"
Francesca says, "Belatedly, Satoshi, the only filthy I am is filthy RICH."
Francesca says, "Ba dum bsh."
Kinaed grins.
Satoshi washes Francesca (and steals money)
Kinaed asks, "Shall we move onto player topics?"
Basdes turns into a dragon and perches on his mountain of gold.
Kinaed claims to galax, "You're the first one up. "
Basdes nods at Kinaed.
Galax declares, "Here I go!"
Galax wonders, "It looks like we got the new look dir (dir) update, which has been fantastic! However, the current implementation came in seemingly silent and it came up as confusing (or maybe even frustrating?) some people on visnet. Is it possible for the old nonspecific look (dir) to still try to work when it can (I'd prefer this for ease of use, don't know about anyone else), or at least pop a message showing the new syntax?"
Elysaveta trails off, "I definitely just thought it was broken for a few days..."
Temi finishes abruptly, "I think we've got bug reports on handling it still - it's not supposed to just give nothing"
Kinaed says, "Yes, I thought we were adding onto the existing, not replacing."
Francesca claims, "Yeah I figured out the change while trying to creep on someone IC. I MEAN. You know. Doing normal things."
Kinaed says, "So I didn't expect behavioral change for the base look. "
Basdes states, "Oh. I thought it was a bug."
KING states, "Oh yeah, I thought it was broken. Or I forgot how to control the game lol"
Raspberries grins
Temi says, "I don't really care if it still works as it used to, or if it gives an error 'can't see anything like that here'"
Kinaed states, "Anyway, yes, absolutely. We'll look at that. Thank you for raising it, Galax."
Temi claims, "But just giving a blank line isn't acceptable"
Azarial says, "It;s been bugnoted."
Temi nods in agreement.
Galax trails off, "It's a minor issue for most of us, I think, but maybe potentially fatal for people who get into lethal activities... that's all"
Sparkles states, "Talking about things not being mentioned before implementing, the change to GL ranks just kind of ... happening was a bit of a surprise."
Raspberries muses, "GL rank change?"
Galax says, "Well, -regularly- get into lethal activities. Words are hard"
Francesca muses, "Oh, yeah. What's up with that?"
Satoshi asks, "??"
Temi claims, "Ah, yeah, the approval levels"
Galax states, "GL popularity calculation looks like it changed"
Temi claims, "We spaced them out some so that they give more indication of where things actually are"
Raspberries says, "Oh"
Basdes claims to galax, "I sympathize. I'm guilty of it."
Kinaed states, "Oh, the old version was 1 = Liked, 2 = whatever, 3=whatever, ..., 5= Entrenched... But the numbers underneath tended to range from 1-18"
Kinaed says, "So people were entrenched at 5 but nowhere near the person who had like 20 points"
Basdes states, "As for the GL barometer, I've updated the scales helpfile to reflect it."
Francesca says, "Hooray! Thanks, Basdes."
Raspberries states, "Ah"
Kinaed states, "So we just changed the spans to be something like... 1-2 = liked, 2-5= whatever, etc"
Raspberries claims, "Makes sense"
Sparkles states, "My honest concern is we are already in a time of lower numbers and playtimes playing with things based on that feels, IDK, something."
KING says, "Ahh, makes sense! I like it."
Basdes grins at Francesca.
Temi states, "But yeah, we didn't get an announcement out before it happened, which probably surprised people."
Galax asks, "So what we're seeing is a front-end change, basically?"
Satoshi says, "This is based off of a previous concern, ifs fo make changes slower sparks"
Temi nods at galax.
Kinaed nods at galax.
KING says, "It did surprise me, thought I was being ousted for a quick minute lol"
Basdes nods at galax.
Raspberries grins.
Kinaed says, "No number, code, or effect changes, just the adjectives to link with the natural span of numbers below"
Francesca says, "It didn't bug me because no one is Entrenched so I just rolled with it."
Francesca claims, "But it did surprise me, yes."
Galax claims, "My initial reaction was 'oh, come at me bro' followed by 'oh, it's everyone'"
Kinaed states, "Sorry about that, it seemed really minor. It's my fault for not thinking of how it might look to people."
Basdes states, "Anyway - yeah, it was a cosmetic change. Not a super big deal."
Sparkles states, "Thanks for explaining."
Galax nods.
Kinaed states, "Yeah, sorry about that."
Kinaed scuffs.
Raspberries questions, "Does that have any bearing on ousting?"
Kinaed muses to Satoshi, "Did we call on you yet for your topic?"
Kinaed states, "Nope."
Temi says, "None"
Raspberries nods.
Galax says, "That said, I do appreciate the scale display change just because it's at least more granular than 'everyone is either dying or entrenched'"
Kinaed claims, "The negative numbers are the same span, etc."
Satoshi shakes his head and copies his topic to paste
Wimpled has lost link.
Kinaed nods at galax.
KING says, "Same, I do like it a lot more after the initial wtf"
Satoshi asks, "I would just like to bring up for consideration given the current situation--currently the playerbase has been. Well, quite low during my playtime and some very important guilds that to my knowledge don't have alternatives have only one or two people in them who are on (like the hospital) and there doesn't appear to be any alternate way to, oh, say, get patched up if you don't happen to play when they play. Can there be thought about alternatives for these systems for when playtime is low or you can't match schedules with people?"
Satoshi states, "This is also prompted by an RP partner of mine who literally there is never a doctor online when they play"
Francesca wonders, "Like a shady Southside NPC with a saw offering discount amputations while lurking in an alleyway?"
Gattara trails off, "I should probably play more because of that..."
Kinaed states, "We have to be careful with this - yes, but... we don't want to undermine the importance of people RPing with doctors or the sovereignty of a guild in their space."
Satoshi states, "I know about the southside patchuo hut id elsnt appear to work "
Temi states, "It's already set up such that physicians are never required, just helpful, too."
Kinaed claims, "For merchants, we allow players to tool objs they purchase at a cost significantly higher than contacting a merchant."
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Raspberries states, "There are deadly diseases that require doctors"
Basdes steps away for a moment.
Kinaed asks of Temi, "Are you saying right now, you don't need doctors on grid?"
Basdes claims to Raspberries, "I luckily haven't tipped my toes in the water supply yet."
Temi claims, "Wounds will heal on their own untreated, it's just really slow."
Raspberries winks at basdes.
Sparkles states, "I think need is relative, if you don't get treated that leaves you vulnerable ICly based on possibly OOC factors like playtimes."
Temi says, "And you can cure the diseases with just the cures, not necessarily the doctor themself."
Raspberries nods.
Satoshi claims, "Wounds do heal slowly but sometimes if you get messed up really bad you cant play"
Sparkles states, "Particularly leg injuries, you basically can't move around anywhere to RP."
Temi states, "Whether it's possible enough, that's another question, but it's certainly possible."
Satoshi says, "And like. if you cant scoot around and you need RP to heal like its suggested in the helpfile you cant hang out somehwre youd need to"
Gattara trails off, "It is possible..."
Satoshi says, "I just wanted to bring it up. even something thats way expensive and not nearly so effective but not NOTHING"
Kinaed trails off, "A horse..."
Satoshi claims, "For example untreated wounds bleed when you ride"
Azarial says, "You can bind them"
Satoshi says, "Which i found out today and thats awkward"
Raspberries says, "Riding can reopen wounds"
Brando says, "U can crawl."
Gattara says, "Yeah, crawl works."
Sparkles states, "Crawling and RPing it as something else is awkward."
Kinaed states, "I think we may want to open a staff talking point on this item"
Sparkles claims, "Which people do all the time, oocly tell you ignore it."
Gattara states, "It is, but if you're injured, it makes sense."
Raspberries states, "Sounds like the best solution is to recruit more healers"
Kinaed says, "I think it's more complex than the immediate issue raised, and we also have some considerations for players who may not be able to represent themselves in this meeting."
Kinaed nods at Raspberries.
Satoshi declares, "Hence the bringing it up! I dont expect miracles or major changes but even an expensive alternative"
Brando nods at Gattara
Gattara states, "I have been."
Satoshi claims, "I have an alt that i have no time to play or motivation. we need more players for more healers"
Kinaed states, "The physicians look like a very healthy, very active guild."
Gattara claims, "Or at least, trying to."
Gattara says, "To kinaed They're not, sadly."
Gattara claims, "Er, pretend I didn't screw that up."
Sparkles claims, "Someone being in a Guild and doing things related to their Guild aren't always the same."
KING states, "In fairness, I spent a lot of time getting patched up somehow, and I've only ever had to wait an hour or two for someone to be online"
Francesca states, "Truer words have never been spoken."
Satoshi says, "I only ever see saniya online and last i saw her status was about how shes losing interest to play so likd"
Kinaed states, "Hmm, we have five members showing as active."
Kinaed states, "So they're in game and RPing"
Gattara nods.
Kinaed comforts Gattara.
Temi says, "I think I've seen that leg wounds can cause you to be unable to crawl due to exhaustion, which I don't know if that was intended."
Gattara states, "Kinaed: They show as active, but are barely around."
Kinaed nods at Gattara.
Sparkles muses, "Active means an hour a week, right?"
Raspberries states, "Yeah, crawl should ignore exhaustion"
Kinaed claims, "That's an overall bummer."
KING claims, "Leg wounds do do that, I've had it happen"
Kinaed nods at Sparkles.
Satoshi claims, "Activity doesnt mean available "
Sparkles trails off, "So ... "
Kinaed claims, "We don't have a good way to measure availability."
Kitty says, "Not all members are allowed to treat, too. That's something to keep in mind."
Raspberries nods.
Satoshi says, "WHICH is why I brought it up. alternative, not replacement"
Kinaed finishes abruptly, "Anyway, a substitute for doctors and how that might be structured - putting that on Staff Talking Points"
Galax states, "If a Guild is staffed and active but regularly unable to provide its services, I think it is also worth pointing out that that is a possible avenue of political conflict. I also don't think that is mutually exclusive with 'characters wounded on off hours being unfixably crippled and unable to RP isn't very fun'"
Temi claims, "I think the intention with crawl is that you should always be able to crawl, no matter the other situations."
Raspberries claims, "Another substitute for doctors is mages- give them some love. "
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Kinaed states, "Yes"
KING agrees with crawling.
Gattara says, "Yes, you can crawl with leg/feet wounds."
Kinaed grins at Raspberries.
Temi says to Kinaed, "That's not the case now with leg wounds, so that might need fixing."
Satoshi says, "The two have similar symptoms that we can treat since we cant treat either causes"
Kinaed muses to Temi, "Bug it please?"
Gattara states, "It was a few weeks ago."
Temi nods.
Kinaed claims, "Okay, that's all I had for the moment in terms of player topics. Thanks for raising your thoughts, folks"
Kinaed questions, "We have about half an hour. Anyone want to discuss anything else? "
Satoshi declares, "Thanks for listening!"
Sparkles raises a hand.
Kinaed queries to Sparkles, "Yes? What's on your mind?"
Temi finishes her note.
Brando raises hand also.
Kinaed claims to Brando, "Adding you after Sparkles."
Sparkles states, "So I know the current status of the big kind of ... overall picture for any upcoming plots is putting things on hold, but ICly some of the things related to that are coming up relative to wanting to plan the Queen's funeral."
Temi claims, "Actually, the big plot has been kicked back into motion"
Kinaed states, "Yeah, we just took a pause to wrap up the 'player' side of things so it could be transformed into a staff-run plot."
Kinaed claims, "Player driven plots cost people QP to interact with, etc."
Kinaed claims, "Staff ones are more 'overarching quests that anyone can participate with'"
Sparkles states, "Yeah, was just curious on the standing of that as that's kind of a group effort involving no doubt most of the Guilds."
Temi finishes abruptly, "I suppose I should give my update since I was late - Niamh and I convened to come up with a plan on how to move things forward, and we opened up a header plot this morning, which will end with a vote of the council on Thursday"
Kinaed nods at Temi.
say The IC Council?
Sparkles muses, "The IC Council?"
Kinaed claims, "I'd just raise the plot against the header so you can do it for free and move on."
Temi states, "The Baronial council"
Azarial has lost link.
Temi says, "Which is titled nobles"
Sparkles asks, "The NPCs or the PCs?"
Kinaed claims, "Both."
Francesca declaims, "There's an IC event board explaining it!"
Sparkles muses, "So the NPCs are going to be voting off screen this time?"
Temi claims, "PCs can place their votes through plots, yep."
Kinaed nods at Francesca.
Satoshi states, "Sweet"
Temi states, "And it's supposed to feel a bit rushed ICly"
Satoshi wonders, "Possibility for non nobles to influence via plots as well?"
Sparkles says, "I think that's kind of the opposite of what people said they wanted."
Kinaed nods at Satoshi.
KING states, "Looking forward to interacting with it"
Kinaed states, "Yep, just submit your IC actions against the plot header."
Temi claims, "This is not the end of things."
Satoshi states, "Oooh i need to have a meeting then. perhaps several. "
Temi states, "We are requesting one plot advance per person at a time (besides the votes for those who get them), so if you want to get involved in more ways, get more people in to do it."
Kinaed claims to Sparkles, "I think that there's a broad spectrum of what people want, and staff have to work between many conflicting interests on those points."
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Satoshi rubs bard hands together and gets out makeup and list of female nobles
Francesca claims, "Lol Satoshi"
Satoshi states, "I learned from the best"
Temi says, "Basically, we want to get through this limbo quickly, so we can move into a place where people can operate normally."
Kinaed claims, "Please be prepared that if people submit plots that are more effective for them to RP with one another, staff will ask them to redirect their efforts towards IC interaction with other players to reduce our burden and also keep as much of the game in-game as possible."
Galax grabs popcorn bucket and note-taking quill
Raspberries claims, "I kind of like the civil war and not operation normally option"
Raspberries claims, "Operating*"
KING agrees.
Temi says, "No comment."
Satoshi says, "Oh obviously plots dont replace normal RP but how can i seduce, ahem, i mean educate NPCs otherwise"
Satoshi is THAT D&D player
Kinaed states, "Also, we ask players who are doing actions to please take some time working on the peripheral stuff, like rumors and whatnot because staff will likely be heavily engaged with limited resources for some of the peripheral stuff, so we'd be deeply appreciative of players looking after that sort of thing that gives actions a sense of 'oomph'"
Kinaed nods at Satoshi.
Temi states, "Obviously plots still have their place, especially when it's involving NPCs, but when it's more PC-based, we'd rather it happen on grid."
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Sparkles queries, "So what happens about involving PC nobles who are super inactive (like months) are they considered NPCs at this point?"
Kinaed claims, "Also, if in doubt, it's fine to raise a plot. Just please don't be upset if staff say 'please redirect this to on-grid' or 'we'll process X of this, but if you could go have a convo ICly with someone about Y, that'd be appreciated'"
Temi says, "If they've been removed due to inactivity, such that they'd have to get staff permission to return, they're considered pretty much NPCs."
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Temi says, "If they're slightly inactive such that they are still on grid, if they do stuff, they do it, if they don't, they just aren't getting involved."
KING gives Kinaed a big thumbs up.
Sparkles wonders, "Will their Barony just be considered like ... abstaining then?"
Temi nods.
Temi claims, "We won't be casting votes for them."
Kinaed says, "I personally would prefer that, within thematic reason, the decision be in the hands of the players."
Satoshi states, "That makes sense too cause no one would like staff puppetting them without good reason"
Kinaed nods at Satoshi.
Satoshi makes exagerated puppet wiggly finger motions
Galax looks at the camera and thumbs back at Satoshi. "It's just that guy, I promise. The rest of us are pure and innocent. Totally. Definitely."
Raspberries queries, "Oh by the way, isn't dirtiness not supposed to tick in ooc rooms?"
Satoshi winks to galax.
Kinaed says, "I was just informed how staff running the plot intend to have it work and am satisfied that the decision will be 100 percent in the hands of players, though some players will rightly have more sway than others - provided, of course, the plan isn't disrupted by what people get up to in the week. Always a possibility."
Kinaed says, "Probably shouldn't, but may have not been programmed simply because it may be complex for the value."
Kinaed claims, "If you want a bath because you got dirty in OOC, I'm happy to fix it "
Satoshi says, "Its me, Rasp, sorry"
Francesca claims, "Stop being so dirty in chat, Raspberries."
Raspberries exclaims, "I'll take a bath!"
Kinaed questions, "We have 10 more minutes. Anyone want to talk about anything?"
Brando states, "Yes ... me pls."
Kinaed declaims to Brando, "Thanks for reminding me!"
Kinaed declaims to Brando, "Please introduce us!"
Brando muses, "Ok ... so, with blacksmithing ... My main character crafted a safe and that worked ... yay ... but then they tried to oepn it with the key and i recieved you are breaking the law kinda message and that staff would be informed. I was rather shocked at this result. can the creator of the safe be allowed to not break the law when opening a safe they created ?"
Raspberries claims, "Hah, that doesn't sound intentional"
Sparkles states, "That's based on the room you are in, I think. If you don't have door privs in the room you are in, it does that."
Temi states, "Hm, I'm guessing that creating the key just doesn't set the owner on it."
Temi ponders.
Temi nods at Sparkles.
Temi says, "Or that."
Brando claims, "Yes i had no clues how to set who owns the safe and key either."
Raspberries says, "Keys and permissions still need an overhaul I think"
Sparkles muses, "Maybe a poke to the proper helpfile could be put in the recipe write up for the craft?"
Sparkles wonders, "About keys and such?"
Galax claims, "I'm still never 100 percent sure on how keys and permissions work and kind of consider it a miracle I haven't had a confused run-in on that"
Temi wonders to Brando, "Can you repeat for Kin?"
Raspberries says, "Permissions are room-based at present, which is fairly limiting for some things"
Kinaed claims, "Sorry about that."
Francesca says, "I have no idea myself. I have a ton of keys. I open things with them."
Brando says, "Yes .. 1 sec pls"
Brando asks, "Ok ... so, with blacksmithing ... My main character crafted a safe and that worked ... yay ... but then they tried to oepn it with the key and i recieved you are breaking the law kinda message and that staff would be informed. I was rather shocked at this result. can the creator of the safe be allowed to not break the law when opening a safe they created ?"
Kinaed says, "Seems reasonable."
Temi finishes abruptly, "We were discussing what the issue probably is - either the owner not being done automatically, or maybe them not having permissions for the room"
Kinaed nods at Brando.
Kinaed nods at Temi.
Sparkles claims, "And I noted that's potentially related to room permissions as unlocking or locking any container in a room you don't have perms for does that."
Kinaed states, "Interesting. I think it's a bit of a conflict between earlier key-based code and later location-based code"
Raspberries says, "Unlocking items rather than directions should probably not trigger the warning though"
Kinaed muses, "We'll lookat it and fix it - Brando, mind bug boarding that?"
Brando claims, "It was crafted in my phomes backyard garden where the forge is. that 'room' has two exits/entrances which lead back inside my phome."
Kinaed nods at Raspberries.
Temi questions, "From that room, if you could?"
Brando says, "I will bugboard it. thanks for considering it. "
Sparkles states, "You might accidentally not be set as the owner of that room."
Kinaed says, "We need to consider if accessing people's stuff is the same in the eyes of the code as accessing locations. However, a person who made an obj should be able to key an owner, so maybe we need to look at this because the message shouldn't happen when people aren't expecting it"
Raspberries nods.
Kinaed asks of Azarial, "When the bugboard comes in, push it to my Board please?"
Azarial nods.
Kinaed wonders, "Okay, we're near the top of the hour. Anyone have anything else? "
Francesca says, "ME ME ME"
Galax claims, "Shameless plug: There's more holiday events coming! IC info will hopefully be going around soon. Tell your friends, plan your plans! I'm personally excited for this."
Kinaed declaims to Francesca, "Go for it!"
Raspberries says, "I still need a bath"
Francesca claims, "Can tool ed add @smell work with tool all please? Thank you."
Francesca says, "Because @smell is the best"
Raspberries spreads the @smell.
Kalana says, "I thought it did.. I've done that"
Satoshi claims, "Ive never had issues sith it"
Satoshi says, "Just do the clipboard per normal "
Francesca claims, "Really? I added it to my clipboard a few weeks ago and tried it and it was like UNSUPOORTED."
Francesca says, "Except spelled correctly."
Kinaed asks, "Given how our code works, if @smell works, it should work with tool all by default...?"
Kalana states, "Tool all.soap ed add @smell, worked."
Galax states, "Unsussportsted"
Francesca says, "Unsususudpdpported"
Francesca says, "I'll try it again. Thanks! I'm happy."
Thanks! I'm happy."
