A Comfortable Room
[Perfect] 
  A plethora of gaily coloured silk pillows with fringes and tassels
completely conceal the floor.  A large pillow in the corner stands out, a
brooding black mass of velvet and fringeless.  Screens of nature scenes
painted with the spare strokes of a brush that hint at and outline the
subjects, leaving much to the imagination.  Behind the screens, silk
curtains and sheets painted with bright patterns hide the walls, pulled
back only around the windows that pierce the southern and western walls to
look out over a lush garden filled with an untamed riot of plants and
trees.

Carved into a thin layer of wood, each petal of the flower offers a small dip
in which to mix paints, separated from the others by a thin ridge.  The
center contains a grid of carvings, representing the center of the blossom,
while simultaneously providing a place to scrub off brushes.  A loop of a
stem across the back provides a handle, adorned with a sprig of leaves at
each side to hold it in place.

Ghed states, "Okay, time to start this week's Staff Update."

    

Ghed states, "This week I mostly did basic stuff but I started working on the new plot for real. It was a very, very busy week IRL, so I couldn't do all that much,"

    

Ghed states, "There was a little bit of policy and a few requests, notes, and normal plots"

    

Ghed states, "I also fixed the Bluebird entry, the script wasn't letting non-Order, non-reeve freemen enter"

    

Ghed says, "Leta is busy IRL but she sends her love, she did a few fixes here and there"

    

Ghed says, "Eurus has done a list of improvements that I had requested including newbie items and food no longer making it ot the sewers"

    
Ghed questions to Temi, "What about you?"

Edison muses, "But then where does food go when I eat it?"

    

Temi states, "Not a whole lot, really.  Some requests and typos, but nothing very big."

Temi nods at Ghed.

Ghed states to Temi, "Thanks for the relentless work, even if it's a little"

    

Ghed asks, "Alright people, let's move on to Player Heartbeat: how has the week been for y'all?"

Edison states, "Pretty chill"

Laniya states, "Having fun.. trying to get as much RPXP as I can though."

    

Kalana claims, "I've been doing well, some good RP for sure"

    

Clood states, "This week was really hot"

Clood says, "I typically got home from work and just went straight to sleep"

Ghed muses, "Nada? well that's good to hear, but feel free to reach out, privately if you have to, if anything is wrong"

Ghed claims, "Alright, time to move on to Player Topics."

Ghed asks, "I've no registered topics! Is there anything you wanna bring up, discuss, request, hope for?"

Clood says, "I've got nothing."

    

Temi states, "Well, if everyone's happy, that's good."

    
Temi grins.

aniya claims, "I wonder if there can be some sort of thing for all the guilds to do.. like I saw made a brotherhood minigame which I am not completely sure what all it does. But makes me think about something for other guilds."

    

Ghed says, "Oh absolutely"

    

Clood states, "Oh-"

    

Laniya claims, "Like.. a travelling merchant needing some goods to stock up with the merchants guild. Or something similar for Physicians.. a roving criminal NPC for Reeves.."

    

Ghed states, "I mean, all guilds have things to do, but some are reactive (reeves) while others are more proactive (troubs)"

    

Clood trails off, "Knights minigame....."

    

Ghed claims, "There is a point where people have to go stir shit up to make waves"

Ghed claims, "It's why troublemakers, if done well, are so valuable"

    

Clood states, "I wanna' stir shit up"

    

Temi says, "We do have some little mini quests like it already, with some guild specific options"

    

Clood says, "But Ghed told me no"

    

Ghed says, "Kudos out there for the active mages"

    

Temi says, "Even if the system on the whole isn't geared around individual guilds."

    

Ghed says, "I had an idea for a very complicated system to let fighters have some fun but code hasn't caught up yet"

    

Ghed says, "And we have bigger priorities"

    

Ghed says, "Like updating spells and such"

    
Temi nods in agreement.

Ghed says, "Eurus is priceless and I wanna make sure his time is spent wisely"

Clood states, "Lemme summon the Demons, Ghed"

    

Clood claims, "I'll stir the shit real well"

    

Ghed eyes Clood warily

    

Edison says, "Everyone wants to play with demons, until the demons want to start playing too D:"

    

Clood grins evilly at Ghed. 

    

Clood states, "Oh they can play with me"

    

Ghed claims, "I did have an automated arena minigame for the Crimson Troupe plot of 2022"

    

Ghed claims, "And I wanted to refluff it to make it less, uh, questionable"

Ghed states, "It's basically like the cock fighting minigame of Confessor's Alley but with humans, and a little bit more complex"

    

Clood states, "Hmph"

Edison claims, "It'd be cool to see someone with 10 veteran NPC guards fight someone else's 10 NPC guards"

    
Temi grins.

Ghed claims, "Lol no it'd be very boring and a massive wall of text"

    

Edison states, "We need war recreations, dang it"

Ghed states to Laniya, "But yes I hear you, it's not so easy when we have less villainy all aroun"

    

Edison claims, "Also, bring back that system there used to be where, when you defeat an enemy, there's a chance to randomly lop off a body part >_>"

    

Clood states, "What."

Edison claims, "Yeah, in the old combat system you could randomly pop off a body part. We lopped off a demon's arm once and we were advised not to eat it"

Clood queries, "D-Did you?"

Edison says, "I mean you -could-"

Edison queries, "Oh jeez, how many people here are familiar with the old combat code?"

    

Temi states, "I do think there was some of that"

    

Edison claims, "First time I rhymed at a rat it's brain exploded and I thought all rhymes could do that"

    

Clood states, "I still have yet to rhyme a rat"

    

Edison says, "#MoreRats"

Edison wants to be Edison von Ratslayer

    

Laniya claims, "Lmao"

    

Temi claims, "You could subvert health."

    

Clood trails off, "I could..."

    

Edison declares, "We could!"

    

Clood declares, "When I play my evil character!"

Ghed claims, "Could play a criminal"

    

Ghed says, "Or an accountant"

    

Clood says, "Scary.."

Edison claims, "Like a Captain Planet villain who just wants to dump pollution in the water"

Ghed says, "There's also the matter that people can run STs"

    

Clood exclaims, "I plan to!"

    

Ghed claims, "It baffles me that they dropped off the radar last year"

Clood states, "I actually have quite a few cooking after our talk"

Clood says, "One involves a vigilante who's just Batman but absolutely bad at everything he does"

Ghed claims, "Well, with that said, yeah, less villainy and no STs does impact the gmae"
