Edison states, "Timed it very closely to you saying 'let's begin' there's just a twirly flower above
you"


Ghed states, "Okay, time to start this week's Staff Update."

Rambling twists the stem of his wooden flower between his fingers, flipping it end over end as it
twirls around.


Ghed states, "I'm done with my masters! All done! Forever! So now time and I have become one."


Edison states, "Hooray"


Edison states, "You're now Master Ghed"


Temi exclaims, "Yay!"


Laniya declaims, "Woo!"


Ghed states, "I am"


Paprika cheers for Ghed! 


Rambling claims, "We're screwed now, Ghed is unrestrained."


Zakalwe declaims, "Congratulations!!"


Edison says, "The student has become the master."


Ghed states, "Thanks folks. I've done little TI this week bc of it."


Ghed claims, "But I can advance the pilgrim plot real soon now."


Ghed states, "That's all from me -- I really didn't do much."

Ghed asks of Temi, "What about you?"


Temi claims, "I had some high priority time consuming work stuff that took up almost all of my time
after I got back from my weekend away, but now that's launched and I should be back to normal times 
for a while"

Ghed has transferred Sparkles.  [OOC]


Temi claims, "Did some recommends and requests and such, but not a whole lot"

Ghed states, "Still it helped a lot, so thanks for that"

Ghed wonders to Leta, "What about you?"


Leta states, "Hello! I mostly eased back into things. Read a few player-submitted books, helped with
our new noble application, handled requests and the like"


Leta claims, "I've been browsing my big list of 'helpfiles that need making' so will likely return
to that this week."

Ghed has transferred Cuthbert.  [OOC]

Ghed needs to do helpfiles too...


Zakalwe states, "Oh dear. Probably a lot of those logged helpfile requests are my fault, searching
the wrong things."

Leta grins at Ghed.


Leta claims, "We -always- need to do helpfiles."

No help on that word.  Request logged to staff for possible addition.

Leta states to Zakalwe, "Nonsense. At least half of them are people forgetting they started a line
with 'help' =)"

Zakalwe laughs.


Temi says, "I think Leta's list are mostly her own additions, though."

Temi grins.

Leta states, "Help emote "Well, I'm not quite sure how I think of Joe," /self says to /bob in the
tavern."

Leta grins at Temi.


Leta states, "Not wrong."

Temi claims to Leta, "Well, that or starting an emote with 'he' and no quote, emote, rpecho."


Sparkles states, "I've found a few curious/outdated things in a few this week so I apologize if I
eventually add to that."


Edison asks, "Bob said that?"

Ghed nods at Temi.

Ghed claims to Sparkles, "We're glad to be updated"

Zakalwe states to Edison, "Screw Bob."

Leta states to Sparkles, "Just tack 'em on typos for us"


Edison states, "Nearly typed 'score' ._."


Leta says, "Now that help coded ingredients and help furs were added, next on my list is help
embellishments"


Edison queries, "Can I put goldleaf in my liquor and crank up the price?"

Leta states to Edison, "Folks have done that."


Leta says, "I believe there is gold flecked Brandy on grid"


Leta trails off, "Because SOMEONE used their milestone on it..."


Ghed says, "Healthy"


Sparkles winks.


Edison says, "I'm not going to be happy until I have a fountain that spews brandy"


Sparkles claims, "Merchants beat you to that one."

Leta claims to Edison, "The Merchant Brandy fountain"


Leta pontificates, "Also exists!"

Leta grins.


Edison claims, "I'm not going to be happy until I have a brandy tub"

HIEROPHANT claims to Leta, "If you want to farm out some of those helpfiles, I've been helping Eurus
with spell files lately and can fit a couple more on my plate if it'd help any."


Rambling claims, "And is a real thing IRL."

Leta states to HIEROPHANT, "Awesome. I might just take you up on that."

Ghed asks of Leta, "Do you know what Eurus has been up to?"


Leta says, "Peeping at the completed board, a LOT of spell and covert fixes. I see like 5 former bug
boards from Hierophant on there xD"


Ghed states, "Oh we should update help news, okay -- good Eurus"


Ghed pontificates, "Thanks!"


Leta says, "Skeleton taxes, a few exploit fixes, spell crashes, an issue with steal"


Leta asks, "And something to do with following and evoking?"

Leta nods.


Sparkles queries, "Talking about embellishments and the new fur helpfile if you have things you had
before some things had embellishment lines, is that a QP request to fix/alter?"

Leta claims to Sparkles, "So long as it's not a huge volume, happy to add on the proper appraises to
things. I did that this morning with bloodwood for a few people."


Temi states, "If they are genuinely old items, folks."

Temi grins.

Leta nods at Temi.


Leta claims, "For things that are old or buggy, not just because you want cool appraisals"


Ghed queries, "Alright people, let's move on to Player Heartbeat: how has the week been for y'all?"


Edison says, "I've been enjoying the pilgrims"


Laniya claims, "Havent been around as much, been around my state meeting people and attending
events."


Paprika trails off, "Pretty good, here. My sister in law is in labor, I'm going to have a new neice
soon..."


Ghed claims, "Ooooohhhh"

Leta declaims to Paprika, "Eek! That's exciting"


Rambling says, "Mixed bag! Been having fun but also made myself real sad. But hey, got a proper PC
now... which has its own growing pains (I'm sorry I cannot join the super secret voice chats that 
absolutely exist right now)."


Kalana claims, "Been doing well, some good scenes"


Zakalwe claims, "This is my first week here. Congratulations, Paprika. I've been having a lot of fun
learning the culture IC and OOC, and everyone I've interacted with has been really patient."

Leta declares to Zakalwe, "<3 Welcome!"


Ghed says, "Sounds like it was an exciting or at least active week"


HIEROPHANT states, "I had a great week. Spooked some folks, met some new players, met some super old
players. Looking forward to meeting more, I've noticed a whole lot of cyans lately - though I try 
not to hook folks into my nonsense too early on."


Sparkles says, "There were some good scenes this week. Thanks for everyone who participated in some
nonsense."


Ghed pontificates, "Excellent!"


Ghed muses, "Alright, is there anything bothering anyone about TI that can be shared here and now?"


Edison states, "One thing"


Ghed queries, "Yep?"


Edison says, "I'm just worried about the clergy running around without proper direction"

Viper has lost link.
Viper has reconnected.


Ghed states, "Yes, we need to tackle that pronto"


Edison finishes abruptly, "Not like, worried that they're going to go feral or anything. I just want
to make sure they have keys and habits and know which heretical text not to preach from - hint it's 
all of them"


Rambling says, "All books are heresy."


Sparkles muses, "I think folks get some of those things now in the start packages that come with
roles?"


Laniya claims, "Heh, before they hold a mass and start preaching about Fire."

Leta nods at Sparkles.


Leta states, "We do try to outfit people with the proper keys and the like"


Leta claims, "Particularly if they start with upper rols"


Leta says, "Particularly if they start with upper rols"


Edison finishes abruptly, "There's a reason we don't have a printing press - it's witchy"


Ghed claims, "I've been considering some extra pamphlets or helpfiles for new roles, especially
Order"


Edison claims, "Maybe a little tutorial area where they learn the pray command"


Paprika states, "The order really could use it. I managed to play an acolyte for a while before
managing to score some keys and direction."


Ghed states, "You need to tell us asap if such a thing happens"


Ghed claims, "We try to, but we can't oversee everything, we depend on players too"

Temi nods in agreement.


Ghed says, "Alright, time to move on to Player Topics."


Temi states, "We generally have no idea and when we do, we often don't know what the other staff
have set up, we have some very different times a lot of days"

Temi nods at Ghed.

Ghed nods.


Edison claims, "Oh yeah, not pointing fingers anywhere"


Ghed exclaims, "I don't think I have registered topics!"


Sparkles wonders, "Well, if no one else has one, can I branch off what just came up?"

Ghed asks of Sparkles, "Yep?"


Sparkles questions, "One thing that I wonder that might make it easier both for like ... cohesive
Davite society RP and for new priests is having some standardized prayers that can go into 
helpfiles. The pray command is amazing for flavor, however, none of them give actual words to the 
prayers. And the only place to get the book that had actual prayers was via the trader prog that's 
now defunct. So would potentially turning some of that into some helpfiles give people at least a 
starting point?"


Ghed says, "Hm, fair, do we have some hefty books on prayers"


Ghed claims, "I mean, we do. But fair, maybe we can link the two things."


Ghed claims, "Like that meme of two hands against sunlight bringing together two puzzle pieces"


Sparkles claims, "So that it might make being a new priest require, a bit less of the skillset that
being a Bard requires in improvisation, etc."


Sparkles states, "As those things might appeal to different types of players."

Ghed nods.


Leta claims, "We can also do what we do for nobles and put a prayer book in the app-in packages"


Ghed claims, "That's a very fair thing"

Ghed claims to Leta, "Hey cool"


Leta states, "We put the guide for visiting nobles in our app-in packages for nobles."


Viper queries, "Was there any discussion on priests/inquisitors being able to supply bless affects
to people?"


HIEROPHANT says, "Consider adding a prayer book to the cathedral somewhere, maybe? There's a public
-facing shop, yeah? Could excuse its sudden appearance as pilgrimage-related, too."


Edison says, "I remember there used to be a visible 'faith' metric if you typed pray, so all the
knights would pray a lot to soup up their faith energy. It was like Dragon Ball"


Viper says, "Powering up in the cathedral "


Laniya states, "Magic? Heresy."


Sparkles queries, "Given that shop doesn't seem to get a lot of use/action by Order PCs maybe yeah,
turning it into an NPC shop to sell some of this stuffs on grid might be helpful as well?"

Leta states to Viper, "I think there was, yes. We haven't implemented but staff was on board."

Leta nods at Sparkles.


Ghed states, "We haven't had time frankly"

Leta nods at HIEROPHANT.


Ghed says, "Alrighty, we'll give this a good look soon"


Ghed asks, "Anythinge lse anyone wants to bring up?"


Edison states, "I'm good :O"


Ghed wonders, "Nada? Okay,  I can send y'all back"


Zakalwe pontificates, "Thanks for the meeting!"


Ghed claims, "I hear there's a SUMMER FAIRE going on so go to the bank if you need it, then buy lots
of things and boast about it in rumors"


Edison claims, "I did it, I didn't type score once"


Cuthbert pontificates, "Lots of things! Daddy needs new shoes"


Zakalwe cheers for Edison. 


Edison is the real hero.


Leta says, "And recommend people for making you nice things and being silly."


Ghed states, "Please remember to post rumors, cnote discoveries, and recommend each other for
meaningful RP =)"
