Something else to help improve the storyteller system, now that I've refreshed my memory on how it goes:
The object list from which you can load items is terribly difficult to skim or read. It would be fantastic if we could view the list by category or simply load objects by keyword, instead of having to search the soload list (which is heavily truncated) for what we need.

That is a good idea. I got around it by doing a quick loop in tintin to soload stat (every single vnum from the list) and copying it to a text file so I could search more easily. But loading by keywords would be so much easier. Or soing a soload search (keyword) that returns all that matches the keyword, similar to craft search.

Another tip from when I ran mine: Request a backstage room to smload and outfit all of the NPCs you'll be using in advance. They'll stick around as long as you don't close the story. Pausing the story will keep them ready. When you need the NPC, you can strans it over. You can visit the backstage any time to make tweaks without bugging staff with sgoto (name of one of your NPCs). I had an exit back to grid in mine with 'enter game'

Any movement on this? This seemed like a really, really good idea with a lot of support from the community. Sorry to necro, it's just that it's something I got pretty excited about, myself, the possibility of having a dedicated writer for the MUD.

Will there be details forthcoming at this weeks OOC meeting?
It's been about a month or so since the announcement. Any movement on a storyline, or some sort of hook to look forward to in the future? Would love to hear some news on this!

Yes. A plot is in the planning phases. My first month has mostly been getting used to the systems and whatnot.
Hey! Just wondering if there was any update or news on this? I've really been looking forward to getting in on a wider story arc since the announcement! It'd be great to have something to sink our hooks into, going into the new year.
