Safe Combat Message Contest!

We've decided that safe combat will have different condition messages for a player. But we're either too lazy or uncreative to do it ourselves.
Basically, every 10% of HP down you are, you move into a new 'condition' category until you're incapacitated. With safe combat, you will move into a new 'condition' category until you're knocked out of the fight.
So, can you help us with messages? The best suggestions will get QP! Here's the regular combat conditions to modify. We will need one message to replace each of these condition entries:
"%s been {Dmortally{c wounded",
"%s impaired by %s injuries",
"%s to be crippled from %s injuries",
"%s looks pretty mangled",
"%s has been mauled",
"%s looks badly injured",
"%s has been wounded",
"%s appears to be hurt",
"%s looks lightly wounded",
"%s has some minor scratches",
"%s looks to be in excellent condition",
Note: the messages will need to be altered grammatically dependent on who is seeing them (eg, "You are injured" vs "He is injured").
