Scribing and Papercrafting

So i recently began considering the costs of Scribing and it has made me wonder. A person who has sufficient skill in Papercraft would be more... knowledgeable when it came to how a book works and what goes into making one (In terms of mechanics). Now given this knowledge of the crafting of a book would it not make sense for them to be better at scribing than your average person?
My proposition is possibly setting of papercraft similar to Haggle where the higher your rank in papercraft the more likely you are to cut your prices to scribe a book or any item for that matter. This would also allow for papercraft to become a viable trade for i know many of my characters would pay someone else to scribe a book if in the long run it cost them less than if they tried to do it, thus opening up the possibilities for papercraft which is truly a minor skill in the long run.
While on the discussion of Scribing i would also like to throw the idea of setting a price for scribing. Now to elaborate on this I know i have at times stared at a book that is scribable and tried to consider how much it would cost to scribe yet never knowing the actual price. My suggestion is setting the price to scribe a book based on price per page. That way a player could successfully know the price and be prepared to scribe it before hand. My suggestion would be 20-40 silver per page.
With that price it would get costly when you get books that are in high page range. For example one such book has 22 pages and at a base price of 20 silver per page that would come to 440 silver to scribe the entire book.
Now of course these are just ideas and suggestions and figured 'Hey why not throw it around other people's minds'. So please feel free to give your view.
