Word travels through Southside that the Warrior's Way - a popular place
to visit for beers and brawls - now offers combat instruction for locals
with some coin to spare. The expansion efforts were spearheaded by Rain
Reed who ensured that the construction work and long-term jobs went
directly to locals through the Lithmore Laborers Coalition, run by Aios
Draiski.
The news may never move far beyond the borders of Southside (except perhaps
amongst conspiracy theorists, suspicious of any activity in the city's
slums), but those in the know have repeated that Rain has said funding came
from a deceased, anonymous donor who asked that the money be used to
improve life for Lithmore's least fortunate. With baths, meals and medical
care available through the Southside Almshouse, Rain wanted to focus on
another chronic problem: violence. "Between demons an' riots an' mad
murderers, we're buryin' too many'f our neighbors who mighta survived if
they jus' knew how ta throw a punch or dance outta th'way of a sword."
Even for those who can't afford the one-on-one sessions, the Warrior's Way
is enjoying a new surge of patrons thanks to rumors of free combat lessons
learned in the pit.

News of tragedy has recently arrived from Vavard - Marcato dul Cavata,
the elder count of Upper Gerdain, has succumbed to a mysterious ailment and
passed away, despite seeming to be in good health.
Another arrival from Vavard follows the bad news almost immediately -
stepping off a grand ship carrying the standard of Upper Gerdain, Marcato's
son and the newly titled count of Upper Gerdain, Arioso dul Cavata,
arriving accompanied only by his young personal assistant. Leaving behind
the day-to-day management of the county's trade to his late father's
capable staff, he allegedly seeks better representation for his domain
abroad in Lithmore's own court - though some murmur suspiciously about his
haste to travel following his father's passing.
It doesn't take long for word to travel among the common folk to give him a
wide breadth.

would be taking over top spot of Prime, and the marvelous efforts of the
interim Prime, a suitable candidate has finally stepped forward. Many
around the city will know Shasa le Dumitru not only for her nobility but
for how often she is seen around the hospital. Lady Shasa, as she is known
colloquially around the city, doesn't really seem to have much to say other
than she is honored to take the position and intends to keep things on
track by following the path set out by interim Prime Master Physician Rain

The Physicians' Charity Auction, held on the 2nd of Septembris by Lord
Ariel le Orban, proved to be a considerable success. The slate of fine
goods auctioned, donated by many of Lithmore's most talented Merchants,
raised a grand total of over 300 gold for renovations of the Madison
Hospital and funding of its many different programs.
Notables such as the Lord Regent Tomas ab Jinosa, the Lady Chancellor
Marisa dul Damassande le Orban, and the Grand Magnate Emma ab Courtland
dominated the bidding, though the most expensive single object - a table
carved with a depiction of the whole Kingdom of Lithmore - was purchased
for 150 gold by the auctioneer himself.
Music and merriment followed, courtesy of bards brought by the Poet Knight
Addienna op Bearsmit and refreshments catered by Galen Fairweather and
Shaylei le Orban.

Medicus was a further announcement: that Shaylei le Orban, le Dumitru's
predecessor, had taken up the post of Epion with the Physicians' Guild.
Shaylei le Orban, who had stepped down six months prior in the final stages
of a difficult pregnancy, stated that she was eager to return to the
Madison Hospital in a more hands-on capacity.

Late last evening, the man known as Detwyn was led out of Ahalin tower,
by the Grand Inquisitor, and the Lady Shasa, who it was said was helping to
translate from his language in to Lithmorran. He appeared rather battered
and bloody, and was led to the pyre. The Grand Inquisitor explained this
man was a unrepentant heretic, and showed a hate for the Lord of the
springs who gave us life. On top of this, he was a mage. She did not give
the man a last few words, but he chose to speak anyway, cursing Dav, saying
that he could not be burned. The Grand Inquisitor placed a gag in to the
man's mouth, and after giving the gathered crowd time to settle, she
proceeded with the burning without further incident.

of Lillton has made their way to Lithmore. The Volkov family has been
rumored to recover well since the late Carter von Volkov died of simple
illness. His son, Wesley, has since taken over the titles and estates,
staying in Lillton a year or so before making his way to the capital.

Order and Dav. He is a known mage, who practices fire magic, and summons
demons. Should the man be seen, the person is to turn his whereabouts in
to the Knights, and or the Order. Anyone caught helping this man with any
sort of services, weather they be medical or otherwise, will be subject to
heresy charges. Do not attempt to subdue him on your own. If you see him,
alert a Knight or Reeve, or member of the Order. This notice was written
and sealed by Zaerieth Silverclaw, Grand Inquisitor.

known as Hotae Prevos by his manacles. For Prevos's part, he looked a
bloody mess: reports are that, amongst other things, his thumbs were
missing.
The Grand Inquisitor anounced that, for his being a mage, demon summoner,
and his attacks upon herself and another member of the order, he would be
cleansed. She allowed the man a few last words, in which he said: "You can
burn us all, but we will win, on a pile of Dav-loving corpses if need be."
The Inquisitor proceeded to cleanse the man without further incident.
After the burning of Hotae Prevos, just as the crowd was dispersing, Lord
Ariel le Orban entered the square. He had a glazed look in his eyes, and
was clearly bewitched to think he had to protect Hotae Prevos. After a lot
