[Poll] Plot Board

A staff member has suggested that we might like to remove the automatic notices posted to the Plot Board alerting people that a plot has been updated, and leave it to the login sequence to alert people that they need to check for plots.

What do you think?

I like having the plot board posts saying it has been updated. I think that it is much easier for me to see that than it is to see it in the login sequence. I sometimes miss stuff in the login sequence. The only improvement I could see to how it is now is to have a list of what has been updated in the individual plots, so I know what to look for. Sometimes it is obvious, other times it isn't so obvious.

Since you get a full room desc upon login, and I tend to hit "[enter] [enter] rp" upon login until I'm sure I'm somewhere I want to be "seen", I never see ANY of the stuff about board notices, new rumors, new bounties, plots running, or anything else that gets put in the login queue. Even dreams I tend to miss unless I scroll back up.

If whererp stuck across login/logout, I could change my habit to !rp on logout, and would therefore be more patient during login to read all the stuff happening. But until then, I will probably miss anything that's not a room desc during login.

I don't mean to make this sound like a complaint, it's just a habit I have that, if I'm not alone, could be relevant to the topic.
