Just in regards to the OOC meetings : I for one know if I was at the OOC meeting I would have raised objection for the purely selfish reason I was about to leave a Guild that I am heavily, HEAVILY invested my rpxp into only one of the skills specific to it. But it is really really rare that I have the opportunity to attend these meetings due to time-zones. Maybe before deciding right there and there a general note can be written so those who can't attend can have a week to post their own response and then the proposed idea be rediscussed and announced in the next OOC meeting.

I'm not a fan of posting a forum topic for discussion, I think only a select few of us use the forums and a general note will get to everyone.

I like the idea of a short delay between meetings and implementation, so those who can't make the meeting for whatever reason have a chance to see what they missed. A general board note with a summary could be a good start but I think after that point, the best place to invite continued discussion is on the forums. I'll go one step further, even, and suggest/request that the meetings be logged and posted into a special subforum all their own. Heading to the 'Under Consideration' zone now!

Continuing the derail of this thread... I honestly think it should be REQUIRED that members get a forum account. They don't have to be active, but at least then people can't bring up the excuse 'Oh, well, I didn't check the forums...'

That's your own damn fault, mate! The forums are a wonderful place.
