Couple things:
For lawful guilds (Order, Reeves, Knights) is it possible to have a command to show who is active in the guild, so people know players other than the GLs that they can contact if there is an emergency?
If it's not possible, is it possible to have some sort of alert to contact those members, without it costing money? I.e. if you're in the entrance hall of the cathedral, you can do a "confess" command that pings the order guild channel that someone is waiting for a confession. Or sending messengers to orderites (group send) doesn't cost money, from that room.
Obviously, there should be a limit - only one ping/messenger per an hour or day or something, so it isn't spammed, but it'd be super helpful.

The first part of this is already possible, I think it's Seek Guildlist. When you are seeking you can type this to see who all of the public members of a guild are, then you can stalk them at your leisure.
I actually like that, sending messengers for free x amount of times a week, probably guild-wide though, not specific(i.e.- you would send the messenger to ALL orderites, not just the one you are trying to get ahold of).

I'm suggesting to make it viewable for non-seekers for guilds like the Order, Reeves, or Knights so you can contact people if you need them for business related RP (i.e. you need to give a confession, a mage pops up, whatever).
And sure, messages to the whole guild is cool, and I think the easiest way to code it in, probably.

I really like that idea, tying it to the border of an xblock. Since most of the blocks talk about a virtual member of that guild turning you away, it makes sense to "ask them" to pass along a message.Temi wrote:What about some sort of option to ping a guild when you're at locations owned by them - maybe at a guild xblock? It could even just be an alert on the guild channel that someone was looking for a guildmember at x-location.
