Ideas we've discussed and decided not to implement.

I am getting pretty tired of having to re-add supports for all my characters each month, especially for people like family members and spouses. Could we -please- get a command of some kind to add permanent supports? Having to re-add people each month that my characters ICly would have no reason to ever STOP supporting just takes away from my RP time and ends up feeling like a chore. I had no problem before remembering to manually remove my supports when they had ICly expired.

Amen, amen, amen.

Having to re-add supports is very irritating and easy to forget, as well, if like me you're an absentminded person. I may not have re-added mine, in fact, after the last time they expired... crap.

It really discourages the use of the support system.

I'm all for this as well. Having the option to permanently support someone would be nice, though I'm still all for the temp support as well(things change *shrug*).

Please. Oh god, Please. We're capable of self-moderating our own support. This temp stuff is so incredibly annoying.

I'm not against the idea of there being more to supporting people than a one-time command. On the one hand, it's nice to be reminded that support exists and that I should review who I'm supporting and why, but on the other hand I don't really get anything meaningful out of typing out the command itself.

I'd love to see support become a more robust system that's more accessible to the pbase at large but in the meantime, I support (hee hee) having support be permanent.

How about support automatically resets when the target of your support goes inactive or when you go inactive, but otherwise remains in place unless set to do otherwise?
