Pegging someone out for the birds.
Banishment. (usually somewhere semi-decent)
Exile. (usually somewhere crappy)

Tied to a saddle by a rope and having the horse run around dragging you.
Crucifixion.
Hung upside down from a tree.
Put in a cage in public or private.
Forced to live in cramped conditions.
Sensory deprivation.
The above two combined.

A stone tied to your ankle and thrown in deep water.
Held under water and drowned.
Suffocation to the brink of death.
Forced to eat things that aren't food.
Forced to drink poison.
Forced to swallow live rodents or bugs.
