Charisma, as a stat, seems pretty useless right now! People have argued again and again about its perks, and just how useful it is - but never, not once, has it come to play in my character's life (who's been a noble, used support, uses mobs, etc). So how can we make it better? What perks should pretty people get?

-They should get into the Bluebell free.
-They should get a blanket 10% discount on everything (too much?)
-They should get a higher chance of getting knocked up or getting people knocked up (kinda a negative. Logic? People want to make babies with pretty people!)
-They should get extra IP, or their support should have more of an affect. (Charisma isn't just about being pretty, after all!)

I... have to admit that I'm very anti the pregnancy factor because, as all (most?) of us know, fertility isn't linked to good looks (or were you being tongue-in-cheek, Leech?). I have a character with 90-something CHA who's completely abstinent; should she have sex again, I don't think the "pretty" factor would count on a one-off as much as what it's currently based in (CON?).

To devil's-advocate for a moment, are you sure charisma's never helped you?

- Cheaper rumors
- Better teaching ability
- Higher App, which people DO pay attention to

That said, it could be stronger. I like the idea of charisma bonusing haggle somehow, and possibly increasing the efficacy of influence-related things.

But I agree with Cellan re: the babies part; after all, that's already tracked by people actually using breed more often. (Assuming you are in fact using breed, you sexy people!)

Maybe with higher CHA you have more babies at once! Like a litter of puppies!

More seriously though, I'd just point out that CHA does have some positive uses in magic.

Max level you can teach = your skill level X your cha / 100

Yeah you're charisma is a percentage of what you can teach.

Example:

Cha: 75 Sword skill: 63

You can teach up to 75% of your sword skill in ranks, or up to rank 47 before the student can't learn anything from you.
