Hi all,
As always, there is some discussion about RP being difficult to find. As a simple aid for this, I'd like to propose that all room titles be given one of three flags; O (for open access), G (for inside a guildhall) and P (for private homes and shop backrooms). It could also be done with different colours for each of the room types, whatever works, just something to draw notice to the variety and that somewhere can be reached if there is a desire to.
The current where list would change as follows.
Code: Select all
Rooms with players who have toggled WHERERP on:
Room Name # of players
================================================
Entrance Hall to the Merchants Guild (G) 1
The Merchant's Forge (O) 2
A Butterfly-themed Home (P) 1
Queen's Inn and Tavern (O) 1
Courtland Atelier (O) 2
Thanks for reading

I like the idea generally, but part of me worries whether certain rooms would provide IC info if given this treatment. Maybe there's a Brotherhood safehouse disguised as a public kitchen. Maybe the Sable Masque is back and its leader's "personal home" is really the first room of an expansive underground guildhall. If Masquey invites someone over for tea and they see themselves in a (G) on whererp.....

I'm a bit unsure about the use as well - aren't most rooms that look public public, and vice versa?
