Syntax: pay date <number>
        gpay date <number>

This command (or sub-command) would tell you either the IC or OOC date that
a payment was scheduled to go through, whether or not it succeeded. For
example, right now I have some weekly payments that were successful, so pay
date 6657 would show me last Saturday's date when the payment fired.

But I also have a payment that failed to go through, and I'm
pretty sure it's been like 4+ weeks now so I'm not sure why it's still on
the list. It was a one-time payment so doesn't really matter when it falls
off the list, but it would be nice to know how old some of these really
are.

Agree.

I think the banking system overall could use some updating and improvement, so I don't know if it's easier to add and adjust piecemeal or to maybe suggest an overhaul as a bigger project.
