I wish it would be possible to ride a horse behind its owner. In some circumstances, that is absolutely needed: when you're two, have a single horse, and both have to go to the same place, especially when you're in a hurry, or when you're polite.

Unfortunately, these are technically difficult due to how horses are stored on pfiles and how the riding of horses is tracked, I believe. I don't think anyone is against it in principle, but that doesn't make it easy to do.
